Starflo Corporation Expands Clarendon County Distribution Center

Starflo Corporation, a manufacturer of industrial valves, announced their new distribution center as the company expands in Clarendon County. The $1 million investment is expected to create 12 new jobs and double Starflo’s distribution center capacity while bringing online new equipment for the Manning manufacturing shop to increase machining capacity and efficiency.

WeylChem US Expanding at Kershaw County Facility

New Esurance Call Center Brings 450 New Jobs to Greenville

Esurance, a subsidiary of Allstate (the nation’s largest publicly held personal lines insurer), announced their new sales and claims office in Greenville County. The $2.1 million investment, which opened in the summer of 2014, is expected to create up to 450 jobs in the area and will be the fifth Esurance sales office in the country, joining Esurance sales locations in Sacramento, Sioux Falls, Tampa and Phoenix.

Google Expands Data Center in Berkeley County

Google announced a $600 million investment to expand its data center at the Mt. Holly Commerce Park in Berkeley County. The additional $600 million investment brings Google’s total investment at the site to over $1.2 billion and the creation of more than 150 jobs.
