Care for these Legacy Members is the number one priority of the South Carolina Power Team. For over 30 years, a dedicated existing industry program has fostered strong relationships, allowing co-op and Power Team staff to know local plant managers personally. We recognize the companies that create jobs and invest in our communities, and we respond to their needs accordingly.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Every one of South Carolina\u2019s 19 electric cooperatives has trained staff ready to address the unique power requirements of local industries and businesses.<\/li>\n<li>Co-ops offer $150,000 annually in grant funding for reimbursement of training costs incurred by businesses for existing employees.<\/li>\n<li>An additional $2,000,000 in funding is available to incentivize expansions by co-op members that meet specific criteria.<\/li>\n<li>With 79,000 miles of distribution power lines, our cooperatives own three times the mileage of any other electric utility in the state.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n      \n      <\/div>\n      \n    <\/div>\n    \n
