Located in the Williamsburg Cooperative Commerce Centre South on U.S. Highway 52 north of Kingstree, this new speculative building is 52,000 sq. ft., expandable to 150,000 sq. ft. and is adjacent to the new substation from Santee Electric Cooperative.
In the last six years the electric cooperatives have played a key role in the attraction and expansion of companies investing more than $6.4 billion and creating 30,000 jobs. The announced capital investment and job creation resulted in nearly $30 billion of economic impact to the State. These results include a state and local tax impact of almost $785 million and labor income of more than $6.7 billion.
