Team\u2019s resident youth whisperer, costume connoisseur, and field trip planner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Caroline is tasked with communicating, connecting, and convening &#8211; which, coincidentally, happen to be three of her life\u2019s passions. Whether it be industry with local schools, electric cooperatives with community leaders, or students with work-based learning video games, she brings people together, inspires energy, and creates engagement around workforce needs and community growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She spearheads <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scpowerteam.com\/fr\/what-we-do\/big-deal\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.scpowerteam.com\/what-we-do\/big-deal\/\">Big Deal<\/a> &#8211; a multifaceted awareness campaign introducing middle school students to jobs in the trades through \u201cSkilled Trips,\u201d particularly within the manufacturing industry.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2020, Caroline joined the South Carolina Power Team from Nexsen Pruet (now Maynard Nexsen), where she vehemently urged attorneys to care about brand strategy and business development. She was the chief architect of the firm\u2019s nationally recognized social media strategy, operations manager for the firm\u2019s economic development and international attorney teams, and primary point of contact for all business development and marketing efforts in the firm\u2019s Greenville, SC office. She also threw all of the Greenville office\u2019s holiday parties, including the infamous Halloween Lunch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prior to her time with Nexsen Pruet, Caroline was Marketing &amp; Research Manager for the Oconee Economic Alliance. Caroline was creative director for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCwAAA5WkON9LLyVsoMd9YQg\">Fabriqu\u00e9 \u00e0 Oconee<\/a> \u2013 a video campaign developed in partnership with local industry and the School District of Oconee County to tell the story of Oconee County\u2019s manufacturing sector and humanize the realities of a career in manufacturing for local students. Made In Oconee was where she got the bug for introducing students to jobs in local industry.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before working in economic development, Caroline was a digital content creator (the term \u201cinfluencer\u201d hadn\u2019t been introduced into the nomenclature quite yet). As an early adopter of every major social media platform, she is uniquely equipped to communicate with the digital natives she encounters on \u201cSkilled Trips\u201d and reporting on TikTok trends during internal team meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Caroline is a member of the South Carolina Economic Developers\u2019 Association, where she served as Vice-Chair of the Public Relations Committee from 2018-2025. She currently serves on the association\u2019s Board of Directors as the Chair of the Emerging Leaders committee.
