Personal Facts

Things other people say about Amy

she is loyal, dedicated, and she safeguards confidential matters. She loves people, she has a sense of humor, she plays hard, but she works even harder.

Amy loves…

the beach, any beach. I love to see people having fun and enjoying themselves, but I also love 4:00 PM when the sun begins to set, and often it’s just me and the quiet of the ocean. I love the mountains of West Virginia, especially riding four wheelers with extended family.

Her most precious time is spent…

with family, Sunday activities, Wednesday night dinners, and every moment spent with my grandchildren.

Interesting Facts…

as a young child she dreamed of being an astronaut, but her hopes were squashed when she realized she had a fear of flying. In 1988, she met Project Mercury Astronaut Wally Schirra. He encouraged her to take a short flight somewhere. It took an additional twenty-eight years, but in 2016, she conquered that fear with a flight to New York.

Who Amy was back then…

a flute player in her high school band, and really enjoyed the Friday night marching band performances during half-times.
