Terry Stockente

Broad River Electric Genossenschaft, Inc.


Terry Mallard ist seit März 2016 Präsident und CEO der Broad River Electric Cooperative. Bevor er zur Broad River Electric Cooperative kam, war er regionaler Vizepräsident der National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation (CFC), wo er die leitenden Angestellten und Treuhänder unterstützte und schulte elektrische Genossenschaften in den Vereinigten Staaten.

Terry ist derzeit Vorsitzender des Kuratoriums der New Horizon Electric Cooperative und Mitglied des Kuratoriums der Central Electric Power Cooperative und Electric Cooperatives of South Carolina.

Terry schloss sein Studium an der Campbell University magna cum laude ab und hat einen Master of Arts in christlicher Erziehung des Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Er und seine Frau Vickie haben drei Kinder und neun Enkelkinder.

Mary Sheridan stammt aus Dalzell, SC. Sie ist Absolventin der University of South Carolina, wo sie einen Bachelor of Arts in Journalismus mit Schwerpunkt Werbung/Public Relations und einen Master of Education in Secondary Guidance/Counseling erwarb. Sie arbeitete über 30 Jahre im öffentlichen, privaten, sekundären und höheren Bildungswesen und verbrachte die letzten 17 Jahre als Koordinatorin für Öffentlichkeitsarbeit im Schulbezirk Sumter. Sie ging im Dezember 2017 in den Ruhestand.

Mary ist seit 2001 im Vorstand der Black River Electric Cooperative und derzeit als Vorsitzende tätig.

Zusätzlich zu ihrem Dienst bei Black River ist Mary in der örtlichen Gemeinde aktiv, wo sie Mitglied des Sumter Behavioral Health Board, des Tuomey Hospital Foundation Board, ehemalige Präsidentin und unterstützendes Mitglied der Sumter Junior Welfare League, ehemalige Vizepräsidentin der Iris ist Festival Commission, ehemalige Präsidentin und derzeitiges Mitglied von The Forum, einer Frauennetzwerkorganisation, und aktives Mitglied der Church of the Ascension in Hagood, SC.

Mary und ihr Mann Hunter sind seit 37 Jahren verheiratet und haben einen Sohn und zwei verwöhnte Hunde.

Daniel “Danny” B. Shelley, III

Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer, Horry Electric Cooperative


Danny Shelley is the Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of Horry Electric Cooperative. 

Danny graduated from Newberry College with a B.S. in Accounting. He has held a Certified Public Accountant license for more than 30 years, received his Chartered Global Management Accountant designation, and is a graduate of the Robert I. Kabat Management Internship Program.

Danny’s grandfather, W. Hal King was one of Horry Electric’s founding 627 charter members. Danny grew up understanding the importance of the electric cooperative to the rural community and has spent his career serving the members of Horry Electric. Danny was born and raised in Mullins, S.C. He is married and has two children whom both live in South Carolina. In his spare time, he loves hunting, being outdoors, and spending time with his family.

Charles Adair

Charles grew up in Clinton, South Carolina on a dairy farm. He is a graduate of Presbyterian College where he earned a BS in Business Administration and Management. In 1980 he founded the company, Palmetto Dairy Supply, which is in operation today.

In June 1987, Charles was elected to the Board of Directors of Laurens Electric Cooperative and currently serves as Chairman. In 1998, he was elected to the Board of Directors of Federated Rural Electric Exchange and served three 3-year terms before retiring from that position in 2007. In addition to his service at Federated Rural Electric Exchange, he became a Director of Central Electric Cooperative in August 2017, received his Board Leadership Certification from NRECA in October 2012 and received his Director Gold Certification in January 2016.

Charles has been married to his high school sweetheart since 1975. They have a son, a daughter and four grandsons, and are so proud and grateful for all of them.

Paul Basha

Paul Basha ist President und CEO von York Electric Cooperative, Inc. Er ist verantwortlich für das Management und die Leitung des Gesamtbetriebs der Hauptabteilungen der Genossenschaft in Übereinstimmung mit den vom Board of Directors festgelegten Richtlinien.

Paul begann 1989 bei der York Electric Cooperative zu arbeiten und wurde 2003 Präsident und CEO. Er war Vorstandsmitglied der folgenden Organisationen: Fort Mill Economic Development Council, York County Regional Chamber of Commerce Board, York County Economic Development Board ( Vorsitzender), The Electric Cooperatives of South Carolina Board – Loss Control and Training Committee (Vorsitzender), Cooperative Electric Energy Utility Supply Board, New Horizon Electric Cooperative Board (Sekretär).

Paul besuchte die Clemson University, wo er seinen BS in Elektrotechnik erwarb. Er lebt seit 30 Jahren in York County und lebt derzeit mit seiner Frau Sarah in Rock Hill.

Paul dient in verschiedenen Gemeindegruppen wie Rotary International, York County Growth Partners und Diensten, die sich um die weniger Glücklichen kümmern. Als Ältester in einer Ortsgemeinde engagiert er sich aktiv in verschiedenen Diensten. In seiner Freizeit geht Paul gerne Angeln, Golf und alles, was mit seiner Frau und seinen drei Kindern zu tun hat.

Brian Broughton

Brian is the President and CEO of Lynches River Electric Cooperative, Inc. located in Pageland, South Carolina.

He grew up in Heath Springs, S.C. and attended the University of South Carolina, where he received a BS in Mathematics. Brian serves on the Central Board, the SC Statewide Board and CEEUS board. He also serves as Chairman of the Power Committee. He is proud to be a founding partner in Rivernet Connect, which provides high-speed fiber to the home of three of the counties the co-op serves. Brian has been married to his wife, Melanie, for 20 years and has two sons, Brody and Banks, both of whom play football, basketball, and baseball. Brian is an active participant in the community and a devout member of the Second Baptist Church of Lancaster, SC.

Jamie Bunton is a Vice President with Bank of the Lowcountry and has been there since 2007. In 2013, Jamie was elected to the Coastal Electric Cooperative Board of Trustees, where he has served multiple positions such as board Treasurer, Secretary and is currently serving as Vice President.

Jamie ist Absolvent der Citadel und hat einen Master-Abschluss in Betriebswirtschaftslehre von der University of Phoenix.

Jamie stammt aus Walterboro. Er und seine Frau Jennifer sind seit 22 Jahren verheiratet und haben zwei Kinder. In seiner Freizeit jagt Jamie gerne Hirsche und Truthähne und schaut Clemson gerne Fußball.

Johnnie L. Dickert

Johnnie is retired from Dickert Lumber Company and serves as Chairman of the Board for Newberry Electric Cooperative.

Johnnie is a graduate of Newberry College and is Director Gold Certified from NRECA. He also serves on the board of The Electric Cooperatives of South Carolina, Central Electric Cooperative, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Carolina Connect.

Johnnie and his wife Rachel reside in Newberry, SC. They have a daughter, a son, and 5 grandchildren. The Dickert family is a member of Mayer Memorial Lutheran Church, where Johnnie serves on the church council.

Michael “Mike” Fuller

Mike Fuller is the President and CEO of Berkeley Electric Cooperative, the largest electric cooperative in South Carolina serving over 125,000 meters in parts of Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties.

With 31 years of cooperative experience, Mike began his career at Berkeley Electric Cooperative in September 2020, after serving as President and CEO at Pee Dee Electric Cooperative in Darlington, SC from 2017-2020 and at Consolidated Electric Cooperative in Mexico, MO from 2006-2017.

Mike has actively served and continues to serve on various national, statewide, and local civic and cooperative industry organizations. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration.

Mike and his wife, Marla, are parents to two children, Brett (25) and Ashley (21). They are active church members and enjoy outdoor activities together as a family.

Robert Hochstetler

Robert C. Hochstetler ist Präsident und CEO der Central Electric Power Cooperative mit Sitz in Columbia, South Carolina.

Bevor er zur Central Electric Power Cooperative kam, arbeitete Robert 23 Jahre im Energiebereich und sammelte wertvolle Erfahrungen als Vice President of Power Production für Hoosier Energy, Vice President of Operations für Cinergy Solutions und wurde sogar gebeten, das Marktrisikoprogramm zu leiten bei DukeEnergy.

Robert is a registered Professional Engineer in South Carolina, New York and Indiana. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, an MBA from Indiana State University, a Master’s in Statistics from Rochester Institute of Technology, a Masters in Strategic Management from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, a Master’s in Public Policy from the Strom Thurmond School of Government at Clemson University and is currently enrolled in classes at Washington University studying law and legal issues.

Er und seine Frau Linda sind seit 25 Jahren verheiratet und leben mit ihrer Familie in Chapin, South Carolina.

Gary Stooksbury

Gary Stooksbury is the CEO of Aiken Electric Cooperative, Inc., a position he has held since March 1995.

Originally from Tennessee, he holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and a Masters of Business Administration from Bristol University, also in Tennessee.

Prior to joining Aiken Electric Cooperative, Gary was the CEO of LaFollette Utilities Board in LaFollette, Tennessee.

Barbara Weston

Barbara Flemming Weston is an experienced educator who has taught English, Honors English, speech, and drama at Keenan High School and Five Points Alternative High School. She has worked as an Education Consultant for the State Department of Education, a Council Specialist for the SC School Improvement Council and was appointed by the Governor to serve on the SC Adoption Review Board where she served as chairperson.

She holds a BA in Education from South Carolina State University, a Master of Education from Cambridge College and Plus 30 Hours from the University of South Carolina, Furman and the College of Charleston.

Barbara is a national Milken Educator and has served on several boards, including the SC Professional Review Committee of Colleges and Schools, the College of Charleston’s School of Education Advisory Board, and the SC State Board of Education. She is currently a Trustee on the South Carolina Student Loan Board, chairperson of the Tri-County Electric Cooperative Board, and trustee of Richland School District One.

She is a lifelong resident of the Eastover community and serves as an educational consultant and trustee at Goodwill Baptist Church. She is married to Samuel L. Weston and has two sons, Samuel E. Weston and the late Julian A. Weston. Barbara enjoys spending quality time with her granddaughters.
