The South Carolina Power Team Announces Addition of Marc Metcalf as Senior Project Manager

COLUMBIA, SC (August 8, 2022) — The South Carolina Power Team welcomes Marc Metcalf as the new senior project manager.

Marc Metcalf brings nearly 20 years of experience in business administration and economic development to this new role. Metcalf most recently served as the Senior Business Recruitment Officer for the Upstate SC Alliance. During this time, he represented the Alliance on the boards of SCBIO, SC Automotive Council, and was the chair of the City of Greer Recreation Association. Metcalf earned the SC Certified Economic Developer Designation, participated in the Advanced Economic Development Leadership Program, and completed an Economic Development Course and is currently enrolled in the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute.

In his new position as senior project manager, Metcalf will use his extensive knowledge to assist in business development and recruitment for the purpose of attracting new capital investment and job creation in South Carolina’s Electric Cooperative served communities. He will serve as a point of contact for South Carolina Power Team’s partners in regards to site selection, project related grant programs, and business development logistics.
