Find Your Staying Power
SC Power Sites
Launched in 2014 and expanded in 2019 and 2021, the Site Readiness Fund (SRF) is a Community Development and Preparedness initiative in the service territory of the 20 electric cooperatives to create competitive industrial sites, parks and buildings that are truly market ready.
The objective of this fund is to better position industrial product within cooperative territory to make the short list for a site selection consultant or prospect.
Through 2021, in excess of $50 Million has been committed over an eight-year period to invest in product development including infrastructure extensions and improvements, land acquisition, and general site and speculative building development.
The Site Readiness Fund is made possible, in part, by an initial $30 Million grant from Santee Cooper with support of South Carolina’s electric cooperatives.
Through 2021, $237 Million in combined investment to create market-ready sites over an eight year period.
